STREAMLINE ARTVIDEO
These videos are portions of the longer, complete instructional videos they normally sell. Top notch and well-known professional artists. Most are 1.5 to 2 hours long. Important to note though that they are a portion of the instructional class. They’ll do maybe 1 hour of setup, materials, sketching, blocking in, starting a painting and then the last 1/2 hour will be an interview with the artist. The interviews can be full of information about the art business and that artist’s experience in developing an art business. Very informative and interesting. No pastelists yet. And quite a few are on portraits or figure drawing. They’re free! A new one comes out every day at 3 pm although you can go back and watch any of them at a later date. Search for Streamline Art Video on Facebook or YouTube.
YouTube
YouTube is one of the most important places for artists of any kind. On YouTube you can find art history, biographies of famous artists, art shows and displays from around the world, virtual museum tours, and tutorials of every medium available to artists. In other words you can get the equivalent of an art degree online, for free. In fact, many degreed artists have posted in the comments of videos, “Why didn’t I learn that in art school?”
