Join us for a Plein Air Event

Four times a year, in February, April, June and August, a date is picked and a location is arranged for a Plein Air pastel painting event.

• APS painters go to the designated area, pick their scene and go to work.

• Keep an eye out for fellow painters during the event!

• If you are not in the region where the event is taking place, you can paint in a similar venue at your location.

• After the event, participating artists may submit their plein air painting to our Plein Air Web Gallery.

• It is great fun to see the different ways our APS artists interpret and convey a scene.
