In this pastel painting workshop with Kim Eshelman you’ll explore the power of shape, value, and composition. Using a variety of techniques, you’ll create a vibrant, expressive landscape with confident mark making to keep our painting fresh and dynamic. 

Kim will provide a reference photo but participants may also use their own.

ABOUT THE ARTIST

Kim Eshelman

Kim is an American contemporary artist working in pastel. She has been painting in a variety of mediums for over 30 years. Her landscapes are inspired by the beautiful woods of Washington State where she lives. Kim exhibits regularly around the globe and has won numerous awards. Her work is in public and private collections in eight countries, including the Pastel Museum in Saint-Auyale, France. She is a Master Circle member of the International Association of Pastel Societies and a Signature member of the Northwest Pastel Society. She is also a member of the American Impressionist Society and Pastel Society of America. Kim has been featured in the prestigious LandEscape Contemporary Art Review magazine, as well as various other publications including American Art Collector and Bold Journey. She will also have a demonstration featured in International Artist magazine in the near future.
